11 a.m. – on the way

This year Ann and Steve are joining us. They take this picture as we have already done about 5 miles uphill, past Vernal Fall and Nevada Fall, through "little" Yosemite Valley, and up on the trail which takes us here, not so far any more from the base of the Dome. We are now closer to the road to Tuolumne Meadows than we are from the floor of the valley where we are staying.
