American Indians, Montana

was pleased to see that the Museum’s collection includes a few representations of American Indians. This is the first of three images you’re going to see. All three are recent photographs. This one is by David Harvey. It is no doubt a picture of a man wearing clothes reserved for special occasions. The fact that he would have them is in itself remarkable. The photograph was taken in Montana in 1991.
