Hustle and Bustle at the border

The border only opens at 10 a.m. — to match Indian time, which is more like true time based on how high the sun is in the sky. Speaking of time: India is 12 and a half hours ahead of our Pacific Standard Time. Why the half hour difference tacked on? Don’t know. I guess they have to be different.
So, guess what: Nepal also has to be different. They’re a full 15 minutes ahead of India, making me look almost late at a wild rendez-vous I had once with a man on a motorbike.
