Kwangbok Street
In the newer section of town, around 6:30 p.m. Pyongyang residents go home at the end of the day. Note the range of colors in the clothes of women and girls. And the fact that they all look in great condition. I was quite surprised by that, as all clothing is made in North Korea.
Perhaps this was staged. Perhaps we didn’t “just happened” to be on Kwangbok at the end of that day.
