Of Elms and Etchings

on the grounds of the museum. The tree is 900 years old and it is a “Zelkova”. My guides made a big deal out of it and wouldn’t go in until I had taken its picture, so there must be more to it than what I understood. I checked out the zelkovas online, and it turns out that they are Japanese (oops!) elms.

What I remember is that the North Korean printing company has its store close by, on the right. That’s the printing plant that puts out the beautiful patriotic stamps and the postcards. You should come and see the ones I got. I also found a lovely painting of winter scene of the University.
